ApexaiQ Promotes Gregsie Leighton to Chief Technology Officer

December 12th, 2025 – Milford, MA – ApexaiQ announced today the promotion of Gregsie Leighton from Vice President of Engineering to the executive leadership team as Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Leighton will lead the company’s technology strategy, oversee the engineering and development teams, and drive the innovation of the ApexaiQ platform.

Leighton has an extensive background in engineering, product management, and cybersecurity. As VP of Engineering at Apexa iQ, he led platform expansion and innovation. Previously, he held senior roles at Caveonix and Check Point Software Technologies, advancing cloud and cybersecurity initiatives. He also drove security strategy at Dell Technologies as both Security Innovation Leader and CISO. Earlier, Leighton served as VP and Chief Security Architect at Virtustream and spent over a decade consulting on IT and security with LTG. At Virtustream, his roles included VP of Product Management for Security Solutions and Chief Security Architect, where he played a critical part in product development and security architecture. In addition, he has more than a decade of experience as Principal Information Systems Consultant with LTG, advising organizations on complex information technology and security challenges. Leighton is an inventor and holds several patents in the field of cybersecurity and information technology.
