Apexa iQ Appoints John Jacott (JJ) as New CTO

John Jacott, former field CISO of Dasera, joins Apexa IQ, the disruptive IT & Cyber Asset Management Company, to drive technological innovation and accelerate revenue growth.

February 28th, 2023 – Milford, MA – Apexa iQ announced today that tech veteran, John Jacott, has joined the executive team as Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Apexa full-time, Jacott joined the company as a member of the Board of Advisors and consulted on several initiatives.

In this role, Jacott will lead Apexa iQ’s global technology and market expansions, plus oversee and identify critical strategic partnership opportunities. Jacott brings two decades of experience building successful technology and sales organizations for innovative start-ups and leading information security companies.

In Jacott's early-stage companies, Netegrity, NTT Com Security (formerly Integralis), Veracode, Coverity, Trustwave, Appsian, and DST Systems, he is recognized as developing new products, disrupting entire product strategies, running technical programs across multiple channels, and leading sales. His experience is unmatched.

Jacott was most recently the field CISO at Dasera, a data governance platform that improves data protection by continually enforcing data governance policies throughout the data lifecycle and helping cross-functional teams collaborate better. During his tenure, he accelerated the go-to-market efforts and played a big part in revamping Dasera’s product to partner messaging resulting in accelerated growth on the global stage and helping Dasera move up-market.
